Official manufacturer image of the bernette 59 sewing-and-embroidery machine with the embroidery module attached, touchscreen visible and a smartphone showing a design screen; it does not depict every included or optional accessory.

bernette 59

A useful fit: Regular home sewing plus personalized hoop embroidery, with a documented app-transfer route and two supplied hoop sizes.

Why it fits these needs
  • This setup includes documented motorized-hoop embroidery.
  • Supported arrangement: Hoop embroidery in the standard M hoop with foot control
  • Meets your choice: What must the machine actually do?: Place designs using a motorized embroidery hoop

The tradeoff: Embroidery requires attaching a 3.2 kg module, stabilizing and hooping the fabric, and switching modes; the free arm is unavailable while embroidering. The maximum 120 × 300 mm layout uses the Multi-Position Hoop, not one oversized single-piece frame.

Exact manufacturer image of bernette 70 DECO with embroidery module and hoop attached. The manufacturer does not disclose photo versus render; image does not show every package component.

bernette 70 DECO

A useful fit: Someone who already has an ordinary sewing machine or does not need one, and wants a dedicated motorized-hoop embroidery system with on-screen editing, a stated 260 × 160 mm field and USB design import.

Why it fits these needs
  • This setup includes documented motorized-hoop embroidery.
  • Supported arrangement: Motorized hoop embroidery with the module and an included hoop
  • Meets your choice: What must the machine actually do?: Place designs using a motorized embroidery hoop

The tradeoff: The b70 DECO dedicates its body, touchscreen and module to embroidery; it cannot sew seams or hems. The largest field is 260 × 160 mm, custom designs use USB, and the 850-spm maximum does not promise optimal stitch quality at full speed. Body and module are separate pieces with a larger combined footprint.

Official manufacturer image of the standard bernette 79 with its embroidery module attached; it does not show all included accessories. The manufacturer does not identify the image as a camera photograph or rendering.

bernette 79

A useful fit: Someone who will use both computerized sewing and motorized-hoop embroidery, wants the standard 208-design/7-embroidery-alphabet library, and accepts changing the machine setup and preparing the fabric for embroidery.

Why it fits these needs
  • This setup includes documented motorized-hoop embroidery.
  • Supported arrangement: Motorized embroidery with the included Large hoop and Start/Stop
  • Meets your choice: What must the machine actually do?: Place designs using a motorized embroidery hoop

The tradeoff: The b79 is a large two-workflow household machine, not an embroidery-only unit: the standard b79 has a 260 × 160 mm embroidery limit and USB design import, while the manual does not guarantee every third-party file and the current sources do not establish wireless transfer. Adding the 3.65 kg module changes the workspace and hides the free arm.
